Die Elliptical Front sorgt auch bei steilsten Hängen für geschmeidigen Auftrieb und perfekte Steuerbarkeit, während der Carbon Tip Stabilizer Vibrationen in der Schaufel reduziert und gemeinsam mit der ABS-Seitenwange für eine satte Laufruhe sorgt. Der Paulownia Holzkern reduziert das Gewicht des Skis bei Maßen von 132-97-113 auf 1380g und sorgt für entsprechenden Boost im Aufstieg!

Die Y[wai]-series reflektiert das gesamte Know-how der Ski-Entwicklung von Hagan in den letzten 90 Jahre. In der Saison 13/14 erfolgreich gestartet, wurde das Skikonzept von Hagan nun in einem Programm mit vier Modellen umgesetzt. Gemeinsam haben die vier Modelle in erster Linie ihren ausgeprägten Y[wai]-shape, der dafür sorgt, dass die Schaufel immer oben auf ist – egal ob im Powder, Bruchharsch oder Frühlingsschnee. Ausgefeilte Flex- und Torsionswerte erlauben geschmeidige Turns in allen Geländeformen, während der superleichte Paulownia Holzkern die Y[wai]-series zu den leichtesten Ski des Planeten zählen lässt. Elliptical Front Ski:
Damit die überbreite Tourenski-Schaufel in jeder Schneeart und jedem Gelände perfekt beherrschbar bleibt, haben wir ihr eine elliptische Form verliehen. Somit bahnt sie sich sowohl den Weg durch Bruchharsch und surft im unverspurten Pulver perfekt auf.

Die Cut Lauffläche:
Der Belag macht die Geschwindigkeit. Die Chimera Graphit-Sinterbeläge mit Die-Cut Inlays sind verschleißfest und bestens getunt für ein optimales abfahren und gleiten.

Multi Radius:
Druckintensität und Belastungsrichtung bestimmen den Radius. Das Multi Radius Konzept ermöglicht individuell kurze und längere Radien auszulösen.

Rocker:
Alle Modelle sind mit Tip- und Tailrocker ausgestattet. Die Rockerhöhe beträgt 3 - 4 mm, die modellbezogene Länge zwischen 250 - 390 mm vorne und 90 - 150 mm hinten.

The Carbon Tip Stabilizer reduces shovel vibration and in combination with the ABS sidewall construction creates a smooth, richly decadent ride. Elliptical Front Ski:
We designed an elliptical shape to keep the oversized shovel perfectly manageable in any snow condition and all types of terrain. The elliptical shape surfs untracked powder perfectly, but also carves through breakable crust and difficult conditions with control and precision.

Die-cut running surface:
Graphite race bases create the speed. The Chimera´s graphite sintered bases with die-cut inlays are extremely durable and ideally tuned for optimal riding and gliding.

Multi Radius:
The pressure and load direction determine the turning radius. Our multi-radius concept allows creation of variable short and long radii on a totally individual basis.

Rocker:
All models are fitted with tip and tail rockers. The rocker heights are 3 – 4 mm, with model-dependent lengths of between 250 – 390 mm front and 90 – 150 mm rear.
