Ein Backcountry Tourenski, der sowohl durch Leichtigkeit als auch Fahrperformance überzeugt; für alle Tourengeher, die auf Spritzigkeit und Fahrspaß auf der Piste, vor allem aber im Gelände setzen.

Die Kästle TX-Serie gehört zu den leichtesten Tourenski am Markt, bieten darüber hinaus aber die für Kästle typische Performance. Freeride-inspirierte Sidecuts treffen auf super leichte Kernkonstruktionen.

87 mm Skibreite: Ermöglicht ein hervorragendes Fahrverhalten im Gelände. Auch auf der Piste bringt diese Taillenbreite Dynamik und Fahrfreude. Gegenüber einem klassischen Tourenski bei vergleichbarer Länge nimmt die Gleitfläche hierbei um ca. 31 % zu.

Skigeometrie: Der SINGLE RADIUS ist ein Meister bei wechselnden Bedingungen und schwierigen Verhältnissen. Die harmonische Seitenform ermöglicht ein leichtgängiges und außergewöhnliches Skierlebnis.

Holzkern: Durch den besonders leichten Karuba Holzkern in Kombination mit der Sandwich Cap Konstruktion wird ein sehr niedriges Skigewicht ermöglicht. Um einen angenehmen Längsflex mit hoher torsionaler Steifigkeit zu vereinen wurde der traditionelle Sandwichkern mit einer strukturellen Schale (CAP) verstärkt. Der Holzkern und die entsprechende Glasfaserbegurtung wirken wie eine Torsionsbox und geben dem Ski hohe torsionale Stabilität. Wesentlich ist dabei, dass die interne Qualität und Struktur als hochwertiger Sandwichbau erfolgt.

Features: Es wurde eine reine GFK Begurtung gewählt, da bei diesem Ski das Hauptaugenmerk auf dem aufstiegsorientierten Gewicht liegt. Zusätzlich sorgt die HOLLOWTECH-Technologie im Schaufelbereich für eine weitere Gewichtsreduktion.

Verschleißschutz: Der Oberkantenradius bietet in Kombination mit der Sandwich-Cap-Konstruktion optimalen Schutz vor Verschleiß.

A backcountry dream: lightweight without compromising performance. Backcountry skiers will enjoy the way up, as much as they enjoy the way down.

Hollowtech: With the help of the HOLLOWTECH technology the ski‘s running characteristics is improved. The cutout section in the shovel leads to a reduced weight of the freely vibrating zone by almost 15 %. The resulting lower inertia moments optimize the retraction behavior of the ski. This means that after an impact the shovel returns much faster to the stable condition, enabling the ski to keep its track much more precisely. Hollowtech creates even greater weight savings on the TX touring skis. And the Dual Hollowtech on the XX Twintip skis, allows for the fastest rotation and most controllable spin.

Waist 87 mm: Makes effortless driving characteristics in the backcountry terrain possible. But also frontside, this waist gives a dynamic performance. In comparison to a classic terrain ski of equivalent length, the running surface gains approximately 31 %.

Skigeometry: The SINGLE RADIUS masters changing conditions and difficult circumstances. The harmonious sidecut enables a smooth and exceptional ride.

Wood core: Karuba is used for the wood core, providing this ski with a very low weight. In order to combine a comfortable longitudinal flex design with high torsional rigidity, the traditional sandwich core concept has been reinforced with a structural element (CAP). This wood core, in combination with fibreglass, allows for perfect harmonization of vibrations and flexing characteristics. The reinforced housing from various fiberglass sheets acts like a torsional box, equipping the ski with high torsional rigidity. In this context it is essential that the internal quality and structure be built in high-quality sandwich construction.

Features: To achieve a super light, touring ski both sheets are made of fiberglass plastic (GRP). HOLLOWTECH technology is used in the tip for further reduction in weight.

Wear protection: The upper edge radius in combination with the SANDWICH CAP CONSTRUCTION offers optimal protection againstwear and tear.
